Let's start with Dessert.

Sugary Cheese Pastries or "Quesitos"

"How do you know who you are if you don't know where you come from". Since moving away from my homeland I have been searching for those flavors that transport me back to my place of birth.

Let's start, with the sweetness of dessert. We are going to test your sweet sugary tooth.

These are to die for!

1 package of pastry sheets

2- 8oz. Cream cheese
3 tbs. Margarine, melted
Sugar

Small brush

Preheat oven to 300 degrees.Cut each sheet of pastry dough into 6 equal sections. Same with cream cheese. Using a rolling pin make each individual pastry section to about double it’s size. Roll a piece of cream cheese with inside piece of the pastry dough, using water where the dough touches so it will seal. Fold in the corners using water to seal them. Place on cookie sheet. With the brush, brush the melted margarine on top of all pastries and then sprinkle sugar on top, be very very generous with the sugar, the more the better and sweeter! Bake for around 18 minutes or until ends of pastries are starting to turn golden color. Let it cool a little bit on cooling rack and eat warm!
Cheese inside pastry may be hot even if pastry outside seems warm, approach with caution try to resist.

Enjoy.
Photo will come soon!!!
